Student Support Services

Lincoln School District is committed to meeting the academic and social emotional learning needs of all students.

  • Through the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) Students with disabilities may be eligible for Individual Education Programs (IEP) which means that they require specially designed instruction to address the area of disability.

  • Through the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, students eligible through Section 504 are identified with a disability (short term or long term) that substantially limits a major life activity. Section 504 requires that schools assure that their facilities and services are accessible to individuals with disabilities, including students, staff, parents, and community members.

  • The Educational Support Team is comprised of educators, school staff and families to develop student support plans for students who have been identified as having challenges in school that require a team approach.

Elizabeth Keenan, Literacy Interventionist. ekeenan@lincolnsd.org

Elizabeth Keenan is excited to be joining the LCS community as a reading interventionist for the 2025-26 school year! She has worked in education for 19 years, and her favorite part of the work is being able to help children become excited about reading. Sunshine and the ocean make her happy, and she’s recently been working on her watercolor painting skills. Elizabeth’s favorite thing to do is play outside with her preschooler, and you’re likely to see them walking through the center of town in all sorts of weather– so feel free to stop and say hi!

Elizabeth will be on campus 2 1/2 days a week.

Hannah Donavan, Speech and Language Pathologist hdonavan@lincolnsd.org

Hannah Donavan is joining us as a part-time SLP in August 2025. Hannah brings with her a wealth of expertise and experience in serving students’ SLP needs. She will be on campus two days a week.
