Transportation
Lincoln School District provides transportation for K-6 students attending Lincoln Community School and for those grade 7-12 students who choose to attend MAUSD. Transportation is not provided to students who attend other choice middle/high school students.
The 24/25 bus routes will look very similar to the 23/24 route; however our plan is to be able to run the route up French Settlement Road throughout the year. We run two bus runs — nicknamed the big bus (Joe) and the little bus (Judy). Below is information about the two routes. Please know that we may make some adjustments, after running the route through for the first few weeks of school. If you have any questions or concerns about your route, please contact the school directly (802 453-2119).
Barring extreme circumstances, this year we are committed to maintaining our route along French Settlement Road throughout the year.

Safety is our top priority!
Please plan to be at bus stop 5 minutes before scheduled time. The first few weeks of school and on days with inclement weather, you should plan on a 10 minute window (5 on both sides).
Our bus drivers will NOT drop off young students without an adult present. For students in Kindergarten and Grade 1 the bus driver needs to see an adult before dropping them. If there is no adult present, the drivers will bring the student back to the school where they can be supervised until the parent/legal guardian or approved adult is located.
Bus drivers may find it necessary to assign seats to ensure safety for all.
Please no eating or drinking on the bus (other than water bottles) so that students with allergies aren’t exposed unnecessarily.
If you would like to have your student take a different bus to a friend’s house or get off at a different stop, we will need advance notice. Contact Matt in the front office and please provide a parent note.
