As the seasons change, so are your children. They are continuing to grow and thrive in our community school. The classrooms are filled with engagement for new learning and excitement to connect with one another and their teachers. The routines are established and the familiarity allows children to feel comfortable taking risks with their learning. As a staff, we are excited for all of the wonderful opportunities this year holds. While I know it is not always easy to have early release or professional development days off, those days provide us with the necessary time and opportunity to continue to grow the magic that exists here at LCS. Most recently we have had the opportunity to work on curriculum and assessment alignment, student support services, culture study, restorative practices, and student enrichment opportunities. As a staff, we would also like to express sincere gratitude for your partnership and participation in fall conferences. We had nearly 100% of our families participate! As always, please reach out to myself or any of the LCS staff if you have questions or concerns. Open communication is the best way to support our children.
With gratitude,
Brooke
